Jim Amundson joined United Bankers' Bank in 2025 with over 35 years of banking experience, including 9 years as the President & CEO at BankIn Minnesota, advocating for community banks. He was the founding CEO of First Advantage Bank, a de novo bank launched in 2003. Under Jim's leadership, First Advantage successfully navigated the startup phase, the challenges of the Great Recession, recovery, and, ultimately, a merger with another community bank in 2015.
Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Minnesota State University – Mankato.
